Nansen Mountain Camp

We have two camps offering the Nansen Mountain Camp program. Both are situated in the central part of Norway several hours north of Oslo, and close to some of our most famous national parks. One camp is located in beautiful Tisleidalen in Valdres while the other is in Rondane, one of Norway’s most famous national parks. Although there are some variations in the programs, both focus on hiking and life in the mountainous regions in Norway. Depending on location and time of arrival, students will be able to learn about Norwegian mountain life, rafting, and natural wonders. Through these activities, they will learn about climate change and how to protect nature, meanwhile, having fun with Vikings, river kayaking, and fishing.
